For the feeling of
being swept away.
Longing to fly to wherever
the music takes you.

on a vacation in Greece.
Despite the dreamy setting,
I felt alone.
I closed my eyes on the beach
for a split second,
to be somewhere else.
Later on,
I added a scan of a music cassette
from the summer of 1999.
It was my favorite cassette
and I used to hear it time and time again,
while riding my rollerblades really fast
on 6th Avenue,
against the cars.
It always made me feel safe.
Like I'm in control.
Like if I see the cars
then I control them and they can't hurt me.
