in Venice, 5 minutes before I left
for a ceremony to receive
2 First Prize awards of the
Art Laguna in Venice.
I had just completed getting dressed
and putting my makeup on.
I paused for a second and
had a glimpse moment of reminding myself
to give myself love.
This work for me is a reminder to stop
and be proud of ourselves when we
accomplish something we worked really
hard on and that means a lot to us,
instead of running to the next
thing immediately.
It is a reminder to love ourselves
not only when things work out
but also when they don’t.
