Where do I start?
i believe that You are enough
is something every girl, woman,
and human should hear every day.
Since we are born,
we are in a race to feel enough.
To be perfect.
As people, and especially as women.
We have to be beautiful enough,
successful enough, fit enough,
smart enough, not to mention,
good enough mothers.
My whole life,
like I think every woman,
I was in this race of perfection.
And maybe, in a way, still am.
This work is a one piece handmade
3d wall carpet, that was made over
many months.
It is huge, sparkly, and shiny,
and serves as a reminder to the viewers
that they are enough.
Exactly as they are,
in this exact moment in time.
It’s not easy, I know,
to acknowledge it,
but it is so important.
to give yourself more love and
acknowledge your wonderfulness.
