22.2.11 was taken after a birthday party

I made for my daughter’s 3rd birthday.

when the party was over

and the kids were already asleep,

I swept the floor from

all the confetti of hearts.

I collected all of them with the broom,

and was going to take the plastic hand

and take it away to the trash,

when It suddenly stunned me how beautiful

this pile of messy red hearts was,

especially with a few “Cini Minnis”

and the old rolling paper.
