.

24.5.08 was taken in a hotel room in Paris.

I arrived in the city to participate

in an art show.

My marriage back home

was crumbling, 

My babies were only 2 years old

and 3 months old,  

And this show in Paris was like

coming out 

for air from under the water. 

I woke up in the morning, 

Took the camera from the bed side table, 

And took this shot.

Later that day,

I discovered that my artwork, 

a glass image of myself in a black

armor head piece,

shedding a tear,

had arrived at the venue in Paris,

shattered to pieces. 

But that’s another story.
