26.5.08 was taken in a bathroom

in a palace in Paris.

I had just arrived at the opening

of an art show I was in.

‍

This was a very hard time in my life.

‍ ‍

My baby girl was just 3 months old

my boy was 2 years old,

and my marriage back home

were crumbling. ‍

‍

more so,

I had just finished breast feeding my baby girl,

and had to show up to my glamorous opening

with cabbage leaves inside my bra.

‍ ‍

I arrived to the palace,

entered the stunning palace bathroom,

fixed the cabbage leaves and my lipstick,

took this shot,

and went outside to my fancy opening,

feeling a strange mix of glam,

pain and fragility.
