an old-school record store,
in the sketchy “Allenby” street in Tel Aviv.
I had just bought myself a new pair
of “Marshal” headphones
that I had wanted for a very long time.
I put them on,
pressed “It’s a Miracle” by Queen,
took a shot of myself reflected
in the stores window,
and felt that everything was possible.
This work always reminds me
of the movie “Metropolis.”
and in a magical synchronicity,
i lately realized that the music video
for Queen’s“ Radio GaGa”
is a montage of “Metropolis”.
