5.9.19 was a very tense

moment for me.

I was 46 years old.

I was with my 2 older kids,

minutes before we needed to enter

an educational assessment.

I needed their father,

to who I was no longer married to,

to be there also,

and he was very late.

It was really important to me,

and I couldn’t enter

without his presence.

I was super nervous.

I entered an empty room,

closed my eyes,

took a deep breath,

and took this portrait.

When I stepped outside,

I saw he showed up.
