6.6.25
6.6.25 was first made in 2002,
after the first date with the father
of my two older kids.
We had a great date and I was
totally swept away.
A day passed, and then 2 and 3,
and he didn’t call me.
I didn’t understand what was going on.
I started to feel that I was losing my cool,
checking my messages over and over again,
wondering if he even liked me back.
I felt like a tiger in a cage,
and made a decision to
bring my power back.
I made this note: a simple A4 paper
with an image of a tiger
that I especially love, That says:
“Lost tiger. Will not hurt as long as
no one will hurt her.
Anyone who knows anything
about her place, please inform
immediately to 03-6290479.
The tiger is very
attached to her owner.”
i printed it in my home printer in 100 copies.
and went out that night
and hung all of them
all over Tel Aviv.
When I woke up in the morning,
my phone was packed with voice messages:
“We found the tiger
and she’s feeling great!”
“She ate dinner with the kids and
they all went to sleep.”
“Don’t worry. She’s alive and well.”
I couldn’t believe it.
It gave me so much strength to go
out and do something active to gain back
my strength instead of relying
on someone else to give it to me.
In 2025, I decided to blow up the original
A4 and make her into a large 3d artwork.
by choosing the red velvet,
and the lush golden 3d frame,
i felt she finally got what she
deserved in the first place:
to get a crown and
become a fabulous,
majestic queen.
